How mirrored twin names are built

A single Markov bank of 560 entries supplies one synthesised name, and the generator often presents a companion alongside it, separated by a dash. Sometimes the companion is the first name's exact reversal (Creorara - Araroerc, Marunaro - Oranuram); other rolls pair two independent synthesised names (Clario - Suile). Each base name is grown letter-by-letter.

Naming notes

The defining trick is the mirrored pair: on many rolls the second twin is the first name spelled backwards (Delelina/Anileled, Arasearb/Braesara), so the siblings are literal reflections, while other rolls pair two freestanding coinages (Giorella/Ero) or return a single name (Branne, Hono) with no partner. Because a true mirror must read pronounceably forwards and backwards, the bank favours balanced consonant-vowel forms. Use these for twin or doppelganger characters where the shared reflection is the point; they are construction coinages, not real names.

Why do these names come in dashed pairs?

On many rolls the generator synthesises one name and pairs it with its reversed spelling, so Creorara becomes Creorara - Araroerc, giving two mirror-image twins; other rolls pair two independent names or return a single one.
