How to use cuename

From finding the right page to exporting your list, here is the whole flow.

  1. Find the right page

Search the bar at the top for whatever you're naming, or browse by world: Fantasy, Pop Culture, Places, Real Names, Other, and Descriptions. Whatever you're naming, there's a shelf for it.

  2. Open it

Every namer has its own page. It loads with a fresh batch of names already on it, so you can start reading right away.

  3. Pick a gender, if it has one

People, characters and most races let you switch between Male, Female and Neutral. Places, items and factions skip this and just give you the full mix.

  4. Choose how many

Six, ten, fifteen, twenty-five or forty at a time. Cue again whenever you want a new set.

  5. Keep the good ones

Click any name to copy it instantly. Tap the star to save it. Saved names live in your browser and show up on the Saved page.

  6. Export the batch

Copy the whole list, save it all at once, or export as plain text, CSV or JSON. No email, no sign-up, one click.

  7. Keep exploring

Each page links to related ones in the same world, and the switcher lets you jump straight to another without losing your place.

Sorting a long shortlist? Swipe mode deals one name at a time: drag right to keep it, left to skip.
