Naming notes
Use it region by region rather than expecting one paragraph: pull the eyes sentence for first contact, the colour sentence for a field-guide entry, the dimorphism sentence when males and females need to read differently. The colour line stacks five hues then ages them (every shade turns 'paler' or 'deeper' with the years), which gives you a ready palette for art. Read the lines aloud at the table to introduce an unfamiliar race, or paste one into a setting bible as canon.
